I have been considering how it might be that scripture pushes certain questions towards us as much as gives the answers to our questions. Today, some more verses from Philemon (2&3)
...to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church in your house: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1. Is the letter as much to Apphia as it is to Philemon?
2. What is meant by a "fellow-soldier" and what is not meant?
3. How much grace can be conferred in a letter?
4. Do the Father and the Son bring peace through each other?
